Who We Are

Kancil Research Labs is a mobile application testing company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We test mobile applications for the organisations that build and deploy them — on real devices, before those applications reach real users.

We run our own device lab, so dynamic analysis happens on physical handsets rather than emulators, and a test environment stays stable from start to finish. Static and dynamic analysis are combined; automated tooling runs the checks and analysts verify the results.

Two lines of research run alongside client work.

Mobile application comprehension. Modelling an application's structure and behaviour from the shipped package alone.

Automated testing and exploration. Exercising an application on physical devices without scripted test cases.
